Messed up on Monk epic

I was on the step where I turn in Trunt’s head to the Astral Projection in The Overthere and he gave me Eye of Kaiaren but I goofed and handed it right back and the Eye was gone. Do I have to start the Monk epic completely over?

I didn’t have to start completely over just from the part where you go to lavastorm on so please disregard
