Warm Greetings!

Post by Vanusk »

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a hello. I just logged back in for the first time yesterday in quite some time and was glad to see everything still going. Big thanks to poru for keeping things going and letting us relive some great EQ moments. Got my 61 iksar warrior currently gathering AAs. I'll probably be around more regular starting next week, (got some business travel to take care of) but I hope to start saying hello to some folks in game! I'm rather thrilled since last night I just got my epic...when I had stopped playing for awhile, I had nearly everything to complete it, so it was a nice surprise!

While I'm here, I didn't see anything here on the forums, but maybe someone could explain or point me to a guide that explains augmentations? I had actually stopped playing live back in day before these became a thing, and looking at all of it is a bit overwhelming. If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be wonderful. Thanks again, and looking forward to seeing ya in game!

Allakhazam page on em pretty much explains them.
https://everquest.allakhazam.com/wiki/e ... gmentation

Augs just add stats that are on the aug to an item you insert the aug into. To place an aug in an item just open the item window up and then place the aug on your cursor and insert it into the appropriate slot on that item. Some augs can only go in certain slots or on certain equipment pieces which you can tell by opening the augs item window.

To remove an aug you need a distiller of the appropriate power for the aug which again will be on the augs item window. The distiller will be consumed while the aug will not. You can reuse the aug in another piece of equipment if you'd like.

Hope that helps ya.

Thank you my friend! This does indeed help, and I've taken the time to try and find some guides out there to help me along as well. Good to be back, and I'll see ya out in the world!
