I tried zoning into plane of time for the first time tonight, but my client crashed when I attempted to zone into potimeb via the undead trial. I zoned back into potimeb when I logged back in, but nothing ever spawned and I'm able to run through the zone without encountering any enemies. I tried entering the other trials from potimea, but I'm not able to make any enemies spawn or restart the event.

You have to wait inside each of the five starting chambers to spawn the initial wave for each room. It normally takes a minute or so for the wave to spawn. After you complete all five the rest of the events spawn automatically and you no longer have to wait in any specific area.
