I've checked both eqtraders and alla for the combine, which should be: Cloak Pattern, Platinum Thread, Velium Mastodon Fur(4), Vial of Purified Mana.
But when I try to combine all 7 pieces in a sewing kit or the PoK world containers I get "You cannot combine these items in this container type!"

same message for me too.

still not fixed.
maybe a work around to getting this item?

From the image, you're using a Planar Sewing Kit. EQTraders is showing the combine only works in 4 containers:
Deluxe Sewing Kit, Tanaan Loom, Coldain Tanners Kit, Collapsible Sewing Kit

Same thing got me when I was using the recipe interface on the wrong forge in Grobb and I couldn't get any recipes to show up.

I sat on the components forever thinking it was a bug, but I was able to do the combine in a Coldain Tanners Kit! Thanks for the advice, I probably wouldn't have tried anything other than the loom in POK had I not seen your post.
