FIXED: Brood of Di`Zok (Chardok) faction cap

I went and raised my Brood of Di`Zok (Chardok) faction to max so I could complete the Regal Band of Bathezid quest(http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/ques ... quest=1888).

The only problem is that my faction has capped at warmly and I am getting the "can't get any better" message. I'm unable to recharge the ring due to needing to be ally with Chardok to recharge it. From what I remember of my days on live servers you could get this faction all the way to ally from killing Goblins in Droga/Nugra without needing to use any illusions or other faction tricks.

Old post, but if you're in any sort of illusion (AON is an example) you will cap at Warmly.

Illusions do change faction bases. As a skeleton I capped at Warmly for COV and Chardok, but as my non illusion DE Necro my factions were max ally.

The faction check for obtaining the ring was missing but the recharge was set to "ally."

I set both to "warmly" because Sarnaks are assholes.

I have tried to turn in the items for this ring but teh quest mob gives them back to me.


I have worked on my faction killing goblins and I am at Ally status with the Sarnak.
When I give Herald Telcha my Di'Zok Signet of Service and the Head of Skargus, he hands both items back to me and states "I have no need for this Keefus, you can have it back.

Fixed a typo.

The quest was only accepting signet/head at warmly. Now he accepts it at both Ally/Warmly.
