FIXED: Skinning Rocks

I didn't wanna post this as a bug since I'm not 100% sure on this, but i have yet to see any "skinning rocks" appearing as a spawn in Eastern Wastes. I keep seeing a "lava rock", but even those appear to be non-existent once i arrive at the supposed spawn point. I can't continue past task 3 of the coldain ring quest due to this hurdle. Is there any way to check to see if this item is, indeed, in the game and in this zone?

found this post. this *might* have something to do with why I'm / we're not seeing skinning rocks on the ground in Eastern Wastes:

This has been fixed.

You can ignore the map, they spawn all over Eastern Wastes.
