Power for the whole city has been out for a while now and exceeded our backup battery capacity.

They estimate power will be restored around 11:45 AM EST.

There are no storms here. No reason for the outage has been given.

Just heard that there was a fire at the substation.

Fire department is saying the outage will be several hours.

Power company is sticking to the 11:45 AM estimate for now.

New estimate from Power Company: 1:30 PM EST.

Was there a roll-back due to this outage? I now seem to be gaining Faction in Sebilis again, and there were a couple of my Beastlord character's bags in my shared bank. Not sure what happened to my original bags in Shared bank?

How big of a discrepancy are you noticing?

We keep extensive data backups so any loss will minor.

The server is set up to soft-off VMs in the event of a power outage but I don't think it worked out that way.

I think the host OS freaked out about battery drain and killed the VMs early.

We usually have an hour of run-time on batteries which is typically overkill here.

Outages are very rare here and are usually just a few seconds.

I had scheduled battery replacement for this August (3 year mark) but I think I will go ahead and replace them now.

I am checking for software explanations as well.

Not sure how much discrepancy we're talking about. I had my Legion of Cabilis Faction maxed long ago, but today after logging in post-outage, I started gaining faction again (in Sebilis).

The Shared bank is more mysterious, as I don't recall ever having any of my BL's bags in the shared bank. And she's been parked in Dalnir since yesterday, which makes it even stranger.

I'll keep an eye out for anything out of the ordinary (other than already mentioned) and let you know.

Back to the topic:
I store temporary drops from event-bosses in the shared bank, before i transfer the items to my mules.
I can confirm, the shared bank must be roll-backed to a state a few month ago, because i have very old items in ...

I also noticed the shared bank was also roll-backed at the last server outage (July 2018).

I lost some items, and got some older items in return. No biggie.

Now I ask myself the question, are the shared-bank inventory not stored regular in the database ...

I did notice that the Guild Bank and the Shared bank had old gear in it as well and some of my new alts were not in the guild. I got that sorted out adding them back to guild. I did not notice anything with them missing anything or levels or such. That is all I noticed from it. I will let you know if I notice any other differences.
