Casual Dreams

Trying to use the casualdreams.org login server as specified on the main page since the EQEmu login server is down for maintenance. Getting the dreaded frozen black screen. I use the EZ Server RoF2 client (which works great when I use the EQEmu login server)

Any thoughts?

For the Casual Dreams Login Server:
login = EQemu account name
password = Casual Dreams forum password

You can use the Casual Dreams Login Server with your EQemu account only if you have registered that account with Mister Forum in-game.

EQemu and Casual Dreams do not share password information for security reasons.

Users who have never registered at the EQemu forums can ignore all of this. Just login with your Casual Dreams forum name/pass.

How to play:

• Install the Reign of Fear (RoF/RoF2) or Underfoot client.
• Do not start the game yet. If the game patcher ever starts up, delete everything and install the game again.
• Create a shortcut to eqgame.exe and change Target: to C:\gamedirectory\eqgame.exe patchme
• Edit your eqhost.txt file to Host=login.casualdreams.org:5999
• Create a Casual Dreams forum account.
• Enter the game with your forum account name and password.

Optional:
To use your EQemu account on the Casual Dreams login server:

• Log into the game with your EQemu account name/password.
• Speak with Mister Forum in the Guild Hall or Plane of Knowledge.
• Edit your eqhost.txt file to Host=login.casualdreams.org:5999
• Enter the game with your EQemu account name and Casual Dreams forum password.
