Casual Dreams

I was just curious if Casual Dreams had a discord server we can all chat in? I'd love to trade with other tribes, but it makes it a little difficult if some tribes do not check the boards or we have to go from server to server.

Is there an official Discord channel. I know i keep up with many games via discord and not forums any more.

Discord is closed source and comes with moderation challenges so I have no interest in it at this time.

Has there been any thought of setting up a Discord server for Casual Dreams, in addition to the forum? I've gotten so used to each EMU having a Discord to hang out in when not in-game that I just feel like I must be missing something without it

Not essential...just thought I'd ask. I'm really enjoying the server and the few folks I've met and thought it might be a cool way to have more real-time communication, even outside of the game.

Discord is not an option, can't self-host. It's proprietary and not secure.

I could set up mumble or tox.chat but I doubt it would get used.

Most gamers seem to enjoy having "free" services like discord and gmail firmly lodged deep inside themselves.

To each their own, but hard pass, thanks.
