Some of my fondest memories of EQ live were world events.

I hope events like these stay permanent or are able to return several times a year.

I hope to experience it before it goes away.

Does anyone remember the first Halloween event on live EQ in 2000?

It was a lot of fun and I was sad to see it go.

Most events will be permanent, though some may evolve over time.

Holiday/Seasonal events, like Krampus, will come and go.

I was playing live back in 2000, I dont remember the Halloween event per se, but I do remember a lot of the live events. We had some fun GM events as a guild in Velious zones with dragons and such. Was good times for sure.

I believe the Minotaur Legend is in the game and will stay. This is part of the custom stuff Poru is adding to the Karana's. Quite a hopping neighborhood now. There are Aviaks versus Gnolls versus Mino's...all duking it out.

There are also seasonal events that have occurred as well. Thanksgiving and Christmas both had several weeks of activity and mobs.

Pabst i totally remember the old Halloween event on live back in the day. if i stop rerolling i may be able to hit 65 one day to join these events
