Re: The power of stupidity - I goofed on a quest!
I took the time to reread the Berserker epic and realized this is the very start. I logged in my own berserker (who has his epic) to see if i could get another axe / medal of blood and it works fine. All you need to do is go back to Keras McArik (also in LOIO) and say "I wish to take this great...
Re: Currency
Plat is used for buffing / potions. For some classes this can be costly. IIRC, platinum is also used to buy skill points to train with, when your arena champion is the winner (let's not discuss the tournament itself here though ) . Additionally, if you have ever made a donation and increased yo...

Comical subtext for monk?
We have comical musings for all the other forum classes, what about one for the monk?
"Never can tell when they're faking it" (feign death)
"Love to use their hands" (there is a NSFW version of this )
"Experts with their staff"
Any other suggestions? =D

Re: Beholder: Necaris / Sokar & Jonquille / Blueberry
What did i do after i got angry at you and noticed i was wrong? I did apologize. This is precisely why I won't get involved in this instance (because we did have a prior incident in Beholder). At any rate, i was just stating to Villy that the OP did attempt (according to the post) some measure of c...

Re: What does "Casual" mean to you?
Low expectations? I guess I should adhere to the "don't ask, don't tell" philosophy in this instance.
I like your example and personally agree with that. It's virtually everything "hardcore" isn't.

Re: Beholder: Necaris / Sokar & Jonquille / Blueberry
The lockout is still 30 hours. For some reason it shows 20 hours at Mister Lockout, then when that has elapsed it adds another 10 hours. At least this is what I have observed.
Poru has also stated in the change log that it is 30 hours.

What does "Casual" mean to you?
I think it would be interesting to hear everyone's definition of "casual", especially Poru's. For me, as someone who played classic, it will always be seen through the casual/hardcore dichotomy. It does equate to convenience, but only insofar that I can do everything myself (endgame raids,...

Re: Dungeon Teleports
There are items, augs, and AAs that extend the duration of buffs. Some of these are available at lower levels. I would be MUCH more supportive of having shaman / buff bots in remote zones over a "teleport to any zone / dungeon" alternative. When we over-tune these things for these reasons,...

Re: Armor Question
For those that don't skip straight to endgame gear (and there are many folks on CD who choose to obtain their own gear), a common and safe gear progression path is: Crescent -> LDoN -> Planar (patterns / drops) -> Time (patterns / drops) -> Events. Planar gear can be further broken down into Non-ele...

Not that I want to be involved in this, but the OP does state that he/she sent them a /tell and received no reply.Villy wrote:I wonder if the OP tried to ask about it, or just assumed...
